Damien, Solicitor at Law and Avocat à la Cour
The integrated program FFB opens doors and horizons!
I was involved in the first promotion of the integrated program FFB. I started my legal career in France in 2006, and I was later accepted into a law firm as a solicitor in 2011. I am currently a partner in the Le Commercial law firm Luchtenberg Avocat, and I currently deal with clients based mainly in London and Paris but also worldwide. In my experience the contacts and skills that are gained from the FFB is a huge advantage for all students who want to add an international dimension to their profile and extend the field of opportunities. |
Vincent, PhD and Jurist
I see the French-British course as an excellent opportunity to open oneself to the world.
The third year of the two degrees - LLM/Master 1 - spent in Cardiff is simply amazing in terms of human contacts, quantity of work and quality of work. It was the first year I worked that much and met that many people from different countries. It was extremely enriching and I have found it extremely beneficial in my work. This experience opened me a lot of doors and enabled me to work today in a foreign legal system and international venue : Monaco, where I am in touch with contacts from all over the world. |

Andrew West, lecturer at University of NantesA positive programme to be encouraged!
Glad to see there is still life in the Cardiff-Nantes exchanges. I was involved in creating the programme in 1986 when I was a lecturer at Cardiff University. It's an excellent way for students from both institutions to confront different cultural and legal contexts, and to be challenged out of their comfort zone. Best wishes to all on the programme! |
